BURNHAM'S seafront came to a standstill on Tuesday afternoon (February 13th) after a two-car accident. Police closed Cross Street at the junction with The Esplanade after the two estate vehicles collided at 3.30pm. No-one was injured in the incident.

POLICE in Highbridge are appealing for information after a suspicious fire at a block of flats in the town. At around 7.30pm on Sunday (February 4th) unknown offenders gained access to a ground floor flat at Gulliford Close and tampered with a gas meter before setting a fire against it.
