DOZENS of residents on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea were left without power and telephones on Tuesday evening (March 13th) after a construction lorry brought down several power lines. AN INQUEST has been opened into the sudden death of a 21-year-old woman from Burnham-On-Sea. Callie Ford was found dead in her home by a family member late in the evening of Thursday February 22nd. Her funeral was held at St Andrew's Church on Friday.

THE funeral of Burnham-On-Sea's oldest resident, who died last week in her 110th year, will take place on Tuesday (March 13th). Kate Ackland passed away peacefully at Holywell Nursing Home in Brent Knoll on March 2nd, where she had lived for the last years of her life.
