A HIGHBRIDGE man has been arrested for drink driving after crashing into this van on Burnham's Marine Drive. The incident took place at 3.52am on Sunday (March 9th) when a Ford Mondeo collided with a van, leaving it badly dented, although no-one was injured.

STORM-force winds and high seas left this 33 foot yacht stranded on a river bank in Burnham-On-Sea this week. The yacht Quodos - owned by Burnham businessman Colin Morris - was tossed onto the southern banks of the River Brue after the 70mph winds snapped its mooring ropes at the pontoons.

HIGHBRIDGE'S controversial 'wonkybout' - which was cruelly named Britain's ugliest roundabout by a local councillor last year - is being modified this week to make it look a little more normal! Trophies galore for town club!
A HUGE haul of trophies and cups was presented to members of Burnham-On-Sea's Hillview Carnival Club on Saturday night (March 1st) when the group celebrated one of its most successful ever years. Over 130 people gathered at Burnham's Ritz Social Club for the annual presentation evening.
A HUGE haul of trophies and cups was presented to members of Burnham-On-Sea's Hillview Carnival Club on Saturday night (March 1st) when the group celebrated one of its most successful ever years. Over 130 people gathered at Burnham's Ritz Social Club for the annual presentation evening.
