A new housing development in Highbridge could be set to grow still further if plans for nine new homes are given the go-ahead by local planners.
Raglan Housing has just applied for planning permission to build nine dwellings, contained within two buildings, on land north of Worston Road, pictured here.
The plans – which include the formation of new access and parking – are set to be considered by Sedgemoor’s development control committee during the next few weeks.
The proposals come amid growing concern among local councillors and residents about the ever-increasing number of low-cost homes being built in Highbridge that are lying vacant.
Local residents have until February 22nd to give their feedback about the scheme to Sedgemoor District Council’s planning department.
