A long-running shop in Burnham-On-Sea town centre is set to close down during May.
The Wool Sack knitting shop in Burnham’s College Street has been in business for more than 50 years and its owner, Jean Hooper, pictured, has decided to retire.
Jean told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week: “It’s the end of an era. While I’m looking forward to my retirement, it has been a ‘bitter sweet’ decision because I will miss all my regular customers.”
“I have loved running the shop here and thank all of my customers for their support over the years.”
