Police investigating the sudden death of a woman in Burnham-On-Sea say there is no reason to believe the incident is suspicious.
Burnham-On-Sea.com understands officers were called to a property in Broadhurst Gardens earlier this week after concerns for the welfare of a middle-aged woman inside.
Police spokesman Steve Game confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police were called to the address on Sunday afternoon and a lady in her 50s was sadly found dead.”
“Although it was a sudden death, there is no reason to believe it was suspicious and no further investigations are underway,” he added.
