These were the wintry scenes in Burnham-On-Sea on Tuesday morning (December 22nd) when the town was left shivering under a ‘sugar coating’ of frost and snow.
Temperatures plumetted to minus six degrees Centigrade overnight, leaving a sharp frost, and this was followed this morning by a fresh dusting of snow as the wintry spell continued.
Police again reminded motorists to take extra care in the slippery conditions due to icy roads and pavements.
The cold snap is forecast to end later this week with a milder Christmas weekend being predicted. Click here for Burnham-On-Sea’s latest weather forecast.
