The streets of Burnham-On-Sea turned white this evening (Sunday, December 20th) when wintry weather swept through the town.
Pavements and roads were blanketed in a layer of hail and snow at around 5.30pm, as pictured here.
Police warned motorists to take extra care if they are driving in the icy conditions.
Burnham-On-Sea’s last big snowfall was in February this year when pavements and the beach were covered in the white stuff – much to the delight of children.
Burnham had been forecast to receive a dusting of snow earlier in the week, but escaped the worst of the weather which fell in the east of the country.
