Burnham-On-Sea MP Ashley Fox has announced the winners of this year’s Independent Shop Awards – a celebration of the fantastic independent businesses in the Constituency.
The initiative, which Ashley Fox launched to champion local shops and services, invited residents to nominate and vote for their favourite businesses across a range of categories.
Over a thousand votes poured in, highlighting just how valued our independent traders are by the communities they serve.
2025 winners are:

- Craft and Hobby – Material Needs, Burnham-On-Sea
- Farm and Produce – North Farm CluckyMoo, Pawlett
- Food and Drink – Maisey’s Bakery, Highbridge
- Gifts and Stationery – Bastins, Burnham-on-Sea
- Homeware – Prowse Antiques and Interiors @ Vintage West, Bridgwater
- Pharmacy – Woolavington Pharmacy
- Tourist Accommodation – The Old Vicarage, Bridgwater
- Village Shop – Westcroft Eggs & Farm Shop, Berrow

Ashley Fox MP said: “Our independent businesses are at the heart of community life. These awards are a chance to say thank you to the local traders who bring so much character, service, and quality to our towns and villages.”
