A daring Burnham-On-Sea fundraiser is preparing to take to the skies to raise charity cash.
Burnham Rotary Club President Jane Gibbs will be performing a sponsored wing-walk for charity on Saturday 5th July.
Jane will be doing it at Compton Abbas Airfield for the benefit of Friends of Somerset Young Carers and other local groups and charities.
“I am excited at the prospect of doing this – I have long wanted to try wing-walking and I hope to raise a good sum for the charities,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
A wing-walk involves standing on the wing of a light aircraft while it flies and Jane will be wearing a full safety harness.
