Burnham-On-Sea Wine Club is to hold an evening featuring vintage wines from the Loire Valley this weekend.
The group will meet on Saturday 24th September at 6pm at the Avenue Tennis Club in Burnham-On-Sea.
Coordinator and tutor Sarah Milner Simonds said: “On our journey we will follow the course of the Loire River, touching upon the wines of the region: Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Chinon, to name but a few, and will give you a real taste of this area.”
“Over the course of the evening we will be tasting eight exceptional wines with some fresh local bread and cheese.”
Throughout the tasting, Sarah will share tasting tips and explain the story behind each bottle.
“This evening is ideal for those wanting to learn more about wine, especially those seeking an informal and informative introduction to wine tasting.”
