Vandals caused hundreds of pounds of damage during an attack on a High Street shop in central Burnham-On-Sea on Friday night (October 6th).
A large pane of glass at the front of Watermark Financial Services was smashed, as pictured, in an apparently random attack by vandals.
Police were alerted at 8.45pm when alarms sounded and, as the keyholder could not be contacted, a local glass recovery company was called in at around 11pm to board up the window.
Police are appealing for witnesses, and said nothing had appeared to have been stolen from the premises.
In June this year, the windows of another nearby business were struck when vandals broke a pane at Thomas’s, a key cutting and shoe repair shop.
