Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor has formally opened a refurbished club near the town offering new facilities.
Sean and Sally Abrahams have spent the last four months refurbishing The Windmill Club in Edithmead to make the venue bigger.
Mayor Martin Cox opened the club when many of the holiday park’s supporters and tradesmen enjoyed a celebratory night with music and a meal.
The Windmill Club now has a restaurant which serves local produce with meat supplied by a butcher in Wedmore and fish from a fishmonger in Burnham.
“We are delighted with the refurbishment and the club is now open to the public and can be used as a function room,” said Sally.
