Wild Wednesdays to be held over summer holidays at Secret World

-

Families have the chance to get up close to insects and reptiles at a series of new ‘Wild and Deadly Wednesdays’ at Secret World Wildlife Rescue near Burnham-On-Sea this summer.

Nick Wadham, creator and presenter of The Wild and Deadly Show, joins Secret World with his live nature stage show on 27th July and every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays.

In between performances, there will be the opportunity to handle many of the creatures involved – for those that want to!

There will also be harvest mice and birds of prey on display, children’s activities, crafts, food and refreshments as well as fascinating talks for all the family. There will be something for everyone, even the squeamish, to enjoy.

Open from 10.00 am to 4.00pm, with free car parking right next to the site, the events are open to all. Entry is just £4 per adult and £2 per child, payable on the door.

Nick, 43, is a life-long natural historian who gave his first public demonstrations of exotic animals at the age of just 13.

He is a published children’s author, and his book ‘The Magical Adventures of Henry Owl’ will be available to purchase on the day with £1 per copy sold being donated to Children in Need.
