The world-famous Red Arrows and a Vulcan bomber took to the skies over Brean on Saturday (June 22nd) during the annual Weston Air Day.
The planes roared through the skies, watched by crowds of onlookers on Brean Down.
Thousands of people flocked to Weston seafront to see the display, while others avoided the heavy traffic by heading to Brean Down instead.
The Red Arrows, in their familiar diamond formation, performed a 20-minute routine and soared high over Brean, Berrow and Brent Knoll.
The event, organised by North Somerset Council, delighted the spectators, who also saw displays from the Pitts Special Aerobatics Display Team, a Tiger Moth 1930s biplane, a gyrocopter, RAF Falcons Parachute Team, an Royal Navy Lynx Helicopter, a Vulcan V Bomber, and an RAF advanced turboprop Tucano. A Battle of Britain Memorial Flight was cancelled due to the poor weather.
