The West of England Dachshund Association held a Funday for dogs and their owners at East Huntspill Village Hall at the weekend.
Sunday’s event was well-supported and organisers said the efforts of the committee had made for a successful day.
“The rain mainly stayed away and the few drops did not dampen spirits,” added a spokesman.
Jenny Butters from Burnham Canine Training Club supported the event with an agility course.
“Lottie Cooper was the judge and Paulo with his rescue Staffi ‘Roxey’ was Best in Show.”
“Kim with her Giant Schnauzer ‘Dash’ was Reserve Best in Show while Arrianne with her Dachshund ‘Walter’ won Best Puppy.”
