Hundreds of flowers, vegetables and art went on display at West Huntspill’s annual Flower Show on Saturday (August 16th).
The show’s organisers from West Huntspill Horticultural Society said the event, which was held on the Balliol Hall, was a great success.
Trophies were awarded to the entrants who won the most points in the horticultural and flower classes.
“We had 730 entries from more than 100 exhibitors which was up on last year,” show secretary Jane Moreton, right, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“It’s been a good growing season on the whole and this has boosted the flower and vegetable entries. It’s been a fantastic show overall.”
The event also included entertainment outside the hall with various stalls, refreshments and live music from Burnham and Highbridge Town Band.
