Crowds of families flocked to West Huntspill Model Railway for Halloween when it held an evening of fun-filled night time train rides.
The model railway in New Road, West Huntspill, attracted hundreds of visitors who enjoyed looking out for scary surprises alongside the tracks.
The evening was opened by Burnham-On-Sea’s Town Crier Alastair Murray with a noisy ring of his bell.
The trees and shrubs around the track were decorated with colourful lights and scary images of skeletons, ghosts and witches.
“It was a great success – well over 200 children and parents came along for rides on five model locomotives. We thank everyone who came along for the evening,” said spokesman Roger Flower.
Refreshments were served from the society’s newly completed clubhouse.
