Burnham-On-Sea fire crew removes car roof to free motorist after crash

Police and Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to a two car collision near Wedmore on Tuesday evening (November 6th).

Crews were called at 7pm to the scenes of the crash in Cheddar Road in Clewer.

A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Crews found two cars involved with one person still within one of the vehicles.”

“Crews removed the roof of the car with hydraulic cutting equipment to assist paramedics in safe removal of casualty.”

Two fire engines, one from Cheddar and another from Burnham, attended. One person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
