The Burnham-On-Sea area is forecast to see heavy rain and gusty winds this week as a spell of stormy weather moves in from the Atlantic.
The Met Office is warning that the unseasonal weather will sweep across the region through Monday and into Tuesday.
The Burnham-On-Sea area is on the southern edge of the Met Office’s yellow warning area, with the worst of the conditions predicted to be in Wales.
A Met Office spokesman said: “A large area of rain is expected to run across the UK through Monday and into Tuesday. A band of this is expected to become slow moving with heavy elements running through it. This has the potential to give 80mm of rainfall in a few places during Monday.”
