Two Highbridge men have been arrested and charged with possession of offensive weapons following a ‘disturbance’ in the town at the weekend.
A knuckle duster, half-broken pool cue and a large slab of wood were seized by police on the Morland Estate.
Two men – aged 22 and 23 – were arrested after the incident at 1am on Saturday and a third person – aged 17 – was reprimanded.
Sgt Ian Kennett told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I can confirm that two men were arrested after being stopped by police following a disturbance and dispute. They are due to appear in court on April 26th.”
