New plans have been submitted to convert a Burnham-On-Sea seafront pub into several flats.
The owner of the Waterfront public house on The Esplanade has submitted the fresh planning application to renovate the public house because previous plans did not comply with building regulations.
The applicant is seeking full planning permission to covert the premises into three first floor bedsits, four one bedroom flats and four two bedroom flats – which were previously approved in a different application.
In a letter to Sedgemoor District Council, the agent for the project, Tamlyns, says: “Unfortunately the previous scheme due to the requirements of building regulations was unable to be implemented in full compliance with building regulations, hence the reason for this application.”
The new plans were submitted to Sedgemoor District Council this week and consultation on the scheme runs until March 10th.
