Surplus water bottes left unopened after last week’s Burnham-On-Sea water mains burst can be donated to a charity.
Unwanted bottes of water will be collected at Tesco’s car park in Burnham between 9am-7pm on Saturday May 10th.
A charity called Fareshare, who are based in Bristol, are in need of un-opened bottled water and will be accepting the bottles.
They give food and water to vunerable and needy families across the country who are struggling to make ends meet.
Organiser Michelle Haines told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is for a very good cause so I woud encourage residents to support them by bringing along any un-opened bottled water you may have.”
“We were so lucky to have the help given to us by Bristol Water when the water pipes burst on 1st May, so now let’s do something great and give back to those who need our help.”
