Burnham-On-Sea fire crews have urged motorists not to put lives at risk by blocking the entrance to their station.
The warning comes after a vehicle was parked across part of the entrance to the station in Burnham’s Marine Drive at the weekend, as pictured here.
A spokesman says: “We issue a polite reminder to people that our car park is for Fire Service Personnel only.”
“For the second time this week we have had people parking here, and this driver today left their car in the entrance.”
“As the sign states, ‘Emergency Vehicles entering and leaving without warning’.”
“Please be considerate when parking your vehicles… it may be you who needs us next.”
