A group of young Burnham-On-Sea football players travelled to Bristol on Easter Monday to watch a top-flight game.
Burnbridge Wanderers took around 100 players and parents to watch the crucial Championship match between Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday where both teams are fighting relegation.
“At half time the young Burnham players paraded around the outside of the pitch to a huge applause from both set of fans,” the club’s James Harris told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“A big thank you to Warren, our under 6s manager for arranging this wonderful day out.”
Bristol City’s Sam Baldock scored an injury-time equaliser to deny Sheffield Wednesday a vital away victory, with the final score being 1-1.
