An online video promoting a Burnham-On-Sea greengrocer has gone viral with thousands of views.
Becky Lyons recorded her own unique version of the hit song ‘Valerie’ by the late Amy Winehouse in the High Street shop.
Her lyrics refer to some of the products, including fruit and vegetables, in the catchy version of the song.
Speaking to Burnham-On-Sea.com, Becky, who is a teacher at Highbridge’s King Alfred School, said: “It was a thank you for their very kind sponsorship of the school play Grease which is taking place during the second week of July.”
Becky thought up all the words on the spot and recored the video in one take.
She added: “I love Gardiner Whites’ range of local products – I am pleased to support a great local business.”
“It also shows the fantastic links that King Alfred School is making within the community.”
