Hundreds of Harley Davidson motorbikes swept into Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (May 5th) during an annual fundraising rally.
A parade of motorbikes headed along Burnham’s High Street and onto the South Esplanade to park up for visitors.
Organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group were collecting for Macmillan, the Teenager Cancer Trust, Great Western Air Ambulance and Burnham’s BARB Search & Rescue.
One of the organisers from the Bridgwater Harley Owners Group told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a record turnout of bikes today for the run to Burnham and thank the spectators for their support.”
“Every year we hold our chapter rally – ‘The Cider Rally’ – which is always well supported with many guests coming from mainland Europe.”
Bridgwater Hog UK was formed in 1989 and is the second oldest chapter in Europe. Following the formation of the club in 1989, the first meeting was held at the Crossways Inn in West Huntspill in February 1990.
