The moment a deer had a lucky escape running across a busy Burnham-On-Sea road has been captured on a dashcam video.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reader Keith Gough captured this footage of the fawn fearlessly running across Berrow Road on Saturday afternoon (May 16th).
“The deer came out of Trinity Rise and then across Berrow Road near the junction in front of me,” he says.
“It ran between a car coming in the opposite direction and my vehicle. It was a wonderful creature to see and we were very relieved that it wasn’t hit.”
The fawn jumped over the double yellow lines before running along the pavement in a northbound direction. It was later seen in the grounds of a nearby care home.
