A dramatic lorry fire on the M5 motorway caused long delays to motorists travelling southbound between Clevedon and Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday evening.
One Burnham-On-Sea motorist who was caught up in the drama said a lorry carrying hay had burst into flames at around 6pm on the southbound carriageway, closing all lanes.
Police and fire crews attended the scene, and Highways England said the blaze had created queues of six miles with long delays. No-one was understood to have been hurt.
The Burnham motorist, who sent us this footage captured by a passenger on a mobile phone, said he had been stuck for over three.
