Video: Burnham-On-Sea thanks NHS staff and keyworkers with ‘Clap For Our Carers’

-

Thousands of residents across the Burnham-On-Sea area showed their support for local NHS staff and key workers by taking part in the weekly Clap For Our Carers on Thursday night (April 23rd).

Our video shows residents along Berrow Road and nearby streets who joined the national applause for hard-working carers on the front line of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Among the other residents taking part in the town were a 3-year-old and 6 month old, Lincoln and Teddy Beavis, pictured here, who showed their support.

Mum Steph Beavis, who is an NHS worker, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “My husband, Warren, and I couldn’t be more proud of our two little superstars.”

“They are so excited every Thursday to take part in the Clap For Our Carers and the NHS. As a result of this, we decided to go the extra mile and make his truck into a NHS tribute.”

“I am a NHS worker myself on maternity leave and I wanted to do my bit too. All of our key workers are doing an amazing job and we are proud to show our support for them.”
