Hundreds of pounds was raised for two Burnham-On-Sea charities during a special fundraising fun day outside the town’s Victoria Hotel on Saturday (June 9th).
The Jubilee-themed event began with a guest appearance from Mickey Mouse and included a line-up of music and entertainment throughout the day on an outdoor stage.
Dee Lloyd, one of the organisers, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were delighted with how it went and were relieved that the weather stayed good for us for most the day. Many thanks go to everyone who came along. Over £600 was raised for the two charities.”
The event was held to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and raised funds for BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat) and the Burnham and Highbridge Gateway Club.
