A top TV comedian from the 1970s was the main act at a variety show held in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday evening (May 15th).
Don Reid, a frequent performer on the original The Comedians programme, was at Burnham’s Princess Hall for a show called ‘Bring Back Variety’.
Over 100 people watched the performance, which also included vocalists Carl De Marco and Stephanie Coombes, plus magician Andy James. The touring show is being held to promote variety entertainment in theatres across the UK.
