Vandals attack shops in Burnham-On-Sea town centre

-

Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after several businesses in Burnham-On-Sea town centre were attacked by vandals on Christmas Eve.

Peacocks in the High Street had a large pane of glass at the front of its store smashed late on Monday evening, as pictured above.

And Aniqa Fashions, previously occupied by Shickle Shoes, was also targeted a few doors away in the High Street, pictured right.

The Bay View Cafe on Burnham’s Esplanade also had a window smashed earlier this week.

Police are investigating whether CCTV footage captured the crimes being committed. Anyone with information should contact Burnham-On-Sea Police via the non-emergency telephone number 101.
