Fire crews were called to a van on its side on the M5 motorway near Burnham-On-Sea last night (Sunday, August 4th).
Crews were called shortly after 11pm to the motorway near junction 23 for Highbridge.
“Two appliances from Bridgwater and a rescue tender from Taunton were sent to reports of a collision,” said a spokesman.
“Crews discovered a transit van on its side on the hard shoulder and lane one of the motorway.”
Crews confirmed there were no persons trapped inside and made the vehicle safe with assistance from police.
