Burnham-On-Sea firefighters tackled a van blaze near Bridgwater on Tuesday morning (January 19th).
The fire service received a call at 9.30am reporting a van on fire at Dunball Industrial Estate.
Fire crews from Bridgwater requested a further appliance from Burnham-On-Sea amid concern that acetylene cylinders may have been inside the vehicle.
A water carrier with additional water from Bridgwater was also sent to the scene due to the nearby hydrants seizing up in the cold weather.
By mid-morning, the crews confirmed that the pressure vessels were not involved in the fire as the fire had not spread to the rear compartment of the van.
The fire was fully extinguished by 11.20am and crews said it had been caused by an electrical fault.
