Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to investigate an upturned car near the town on Saturday morning (September 12th).
Crews were called to Mark Road near the village of Burtle at 9.25am.
It followed reports that a vehicle had left the road and was upside down in a stream.
“Two fire appliances from Glastonbury and Burnham-On-Sea, along with the Specialist Rescue Team from Bridgwater and the Rescue Tender from Glastonbury, were sent to the scene due to the nature of the incident,” said a spokesman.
“Crews confirmed the vehicle was in a stream approximately three feet deep with no persons inside the vehicle. They got to work securing the vehicle and making the scene safe.”
It’s believed the occupant had escaped unhurt.
