A parade of minis is set to take place through Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (August 4th) when a fundraising car event took place.
The parade is part of an annual charity event called ‘Under A Mini Moon’, which is held in aid of the ‘Make A Wish Foundation’.
Under the Mini Moon was held last year for the first time and raised £2,792 for Make a Wish.
“This year we have a new venue and have around 150 minis, old and new, booked in,” says a spokesman.
“On Saturday 4th the minis will be going in convoy to Blue Anchor for a pub lunch then back to Burnham. We hope to parade through the town at approximately 3.30-4, which is a very approximate time.”
“On Sunday 5th the show is open to the public from 10.30. It costs £2.50 per adult with under 16’s free. There will of course be Minis on show but also trade stands, events in the arena, food and drink, a bouncy castle, licensed bar and more.
It will be held in the fields on the A38 Old Pawlett Road, West Huntspill – the same place as Sedgemoor Vintage Show and the Blue Ridge Runners show.
