A Christmas raffle at a Burnham-On-Sea travel agent shop has raised hundreds of pounds for a national charity.
TUI Travel in Burnham High Street organised the raffle in aid of Whizz-Kidz, who are one of the company’s chosen charities.
Whizz-Kidz aim to transform the lives of disabled children across the UK, supporting them to become confident and independent young adults.
The Burnham store’s raffle offered around 30 prizes – all donated by local businesses including Argos, Tesco, Asda, La Vela, Boots, B&M, Costa and 1610 Gym – and raised £325 in total.
The top prize was won by Burnham resident Robin Hewlett, pictured, who received an LCD TV kindly donated by Argos.
The raffle was organised by staff member Audrey who has been with TUI for 30 years and is pictured with Mr Hewlett.
The store thanked all the customers and businesses who supported this year’s raffle.
