A Burnham-On-Sea street’s dazzling display of Christmas lights attracted international media attention on Monday night (December 13th) when a TV crew from Germany visited the town.
Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported earlier this month how Trinity Close, which has been dubbed Britain’s most festive cul-de-sac, had switched on its illuminations.
On Monday, a camera crew from one of Germany’s biggest national TV stations broadcast footage of the display and also interviewed several of the residents.
Trinity Close resident Roger Flower told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The display has again attracted widespread media attention this year, but I think this is the first time we’ve had a German TV crew visit us!”
The display features almost 100,000 dazzling Christmas lights in aid of Burnham rescue hovercraft charity BARB and PETAL, The Christine Woodberry Memorial Trust. The lights are lit from 4pm to 10pm each day until January 6th.
