Burnham-On-Sea’s 25th annual triathlon is being held on Sunday morning (June 12th).
Hundreds of athletes will be running, swimming and cycling their way around the course from 6.15am.
Organiser Martin Rogers told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “This is the 25th running of the Burnham triathlon and it is as popular as ever.”
“We have over 350 competitors entered from around the country, which is just about the limit we can take. Preparations have gone well for the day – we are just hoping for fine weather.”
The race starts at 6.15am with a 500m swim in the pool, followed by a 20km cycle and a 5km run.
Berrow Road adjacent to Burnham Swim and Sports Academy, between the junctions of Seaview Road and Victoria Street, will be closed to traffic, with a diversion in place for traffic.
