Police issue appeal after smash-and-grab theft at Berrow garage

-

Burnham-On-Sea police have appealed for witnesses after a smash-and-grab raid at this garage in Berrow on Sunday evening (May 26th).

A motorbike was stolen from Triangle Garage when a large pane of glass was smashed at the front of the property, as pictured below.

An Orange KTM 625 bike with the registration plate YN04 XTW was taken – shown on the mobile phone screen here.

Garage owner Paul Mellows told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The front glass doors of our workshop were smashed shortly at around 8.15pm and this motor bike was stolen. We are interested to hear from anyone who saw it being ridden away.”

It is understood that the bike was ridden into Burnham by a motorcyclist who had a BMX bike across his lap and was not wearing a helmet.

Anyone with information should contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
