A group of travellers who moved onto land near the entrance to Highbridge’s Asda supermarket have left the area.
The convoy of vans and caravans besides Caxton Drive left on Saturday (August 15th) after an eviction notice was set to be served.
Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported last week that the group had moved onto the disused land on Wednesday (August 12th). Police were monitoring the situation.
The land owner was in the process of serving an eviction notice to get the group moved on.
