This large convoy of travellers has moved onto an empty field in Highbridge’s Isleport Industrial Estate.
Over 25 vehicles took up residence on the field next to Brake Brothers food factory, opposite the recycling centre, on Wednesday night and are still there today.
Police were called to the scene and are now actively monitoring the situation while the land owner seeks an order to move them on.
A local resident told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The convoy moved onto the land at around 8pm from a narrow entrance opposite the recycling centre and so far they have not caused any trouble.”
