A group of travellers has set up camp in a car park in Burnham-On-Sea this weekend.
The travellers started arriving in the town’s Pier Street car park just off The Esplanade late on Friday evening and a dozen vehicles were parked up on Saturday night.
Sedgemoor District Council, which owns the car park, is aware of the situation and is monitoring it ahead of possible legal action to move them on.
The vehicles – including caravans, cars and horse boxes – are parked on spaces at the far southern end of the car park.
