Copies of the new edition of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council’s Town Guide are being delivered across the two towns.
This provides information on local services as well as churches, local activities, sports, youth and community groups with contact details as well as items of historical interest.
Town Clerk Tatiana Cant said: “We hope our parishioners will find all the information they need so that they can enjoy making good use of the facilities in our towns.”
“We are very keen to engage closely with our community and hope that residents will keep this booklet somewhere safe to refer to as the next edition will be produced in two years’ time.”
Residents will also find Town Council leaflets tucked into the Town Guide providing useful contact details with a guide explaining which local government council is responsible for each public service and how to contact them.
There is also a leaflet on the Plastic Free initative showing how local people can help the Town Council to become a Plastic Free Community as well as a flyer with details of the forthcoming Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on 20th September.
If there is any further information you would like to receive, please visit the Town Council web site or contact the office.
