Residents in Burnham and Highbridge who want to be considered for the vacant position on the Town Council have until Tuesday morning (May 27th) to complete their applications.
Burnham and Highbridge Town Council is seeking a local person to fill the role, which has been created after Alan Miller’s resignation last month due to ill health.
A costly by-election was avoided because ten parishioners in the Highbridge ward did not come foward, leaving the council with the job of co-opting their own member.
Application forms are available at the tourist information centre on Burnham seafront and need to be returned to the Town Council Clerk by Tuesday morning.
The applications will then be considered at the next full council meeting on Monday June 2nd.
