A leading BBC television personality is set to visit Burnham-On-Sea in June for an ‘intimate evening of conversation”.

Tom Chambers, who is a familiar face on BBC medical dramas Holby City and Casualty, also won Strictly Come Dancing.

He will be visiting Burnham’s Princess Theatre for ‘An Evening With Tom Chambers’ on Friday 9th June at 7.30pm.

“It will be an opportunity to enjoy an intimate evening of conversation with this star of the West End and TV,” theatre manager Sam Nicol told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Tom is best known for his role as Sam Strachan in the BBC series Holby City and Casualty and as Max Tyler in the BBC’s series Waterloo Road. He also won the sixth season of Strictly Come Dancing.”

Tom will be sharing stories about his life and career, while being interviewed by Burnham’s own Clare Hunter.

“Might he be persuaded to bring his tap shoes – we shall see!” adds Sam. “He is currently preparing to star in ‘Crazy For You’ on tour at the Bristol Hippodrome.”

Tickets, priced at £20 and £18 for concessions, are available from The Princess on the Box Office number 01278 784464.
