Discount retail chain The Works has started advertising for staff at its soon-to-open new store in Burnham-On-Sea town centre.
As first reported by Burnham-On-Sea.com, The Works – which sells books, art and craft materials, gifts, toys, games and stationery – plans to open in Burnham High Street.
A job advert for an assistant manager role at the planned store in Burnham-On-Sea has been posted online.
Documents published on the Sedgemoor District Council website also outline a request for ‘advertisement consent’ to install two signs and a window graphic at 35 High Street.
Workmen have been seen preparing the property in during recent weeks, decorating the interior and preparing it for retail use.
The unit was previously occupied by New Look, which closed its store in September 2018, as Burnham-On-Sea.com reported at the time.
