A two day Christmas fair is to be held in West Huntspill this weekend.
The Greenwood B&B at 76 Main Road will be holding the festive event on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November from 2pm on both days when a large number of stalls will be set up selling Christmas gifts and food.
Penny Rasch, the owner of The Greenwood, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “On sale will be homemade jams, chutneys, jellies, and Christmas cakes, puddings and mince pies.”
“There will also be hand-made cards, cushions, table decorations, second-hand books, tombola, wrapping paper, cards and gift tags.”
She added: “This year, as well as raising funds for our son, Mark, to continue training with the British Snowboardercross team, I am helping local people raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice, Macmillan and West Huntspill Playgroup.”
Mark was injured during a competition recently and suffered severely damage to his knee ligaments and is still undergoing physiotherapy so will miss the start of the season. He needs a knee brace costing £300 to continue in the sport.
