Burnham-On-Sea’s Tesco supermarket is set to hold a community day this Wednesday (August 30th).
The store in Ben Travers Way is holding the event from 10am-4pm outside its supermarket to shine a spotlight on local community groups, activities and businesses.
There will be live music through the day, arts and crafts, a face painter, a display of birds of prey, plus other entertainment.
Among the groups scheduled to take part are Burnham Lions, BARB Search & Rescue, Brean Splash, 1610 and Yeo Valley plus others.
“It’s the first time we’ve held the event, and we’d like to help publicize some of the great community groups and activities in the are,” said Burnham-On-Sea Tesco store manager Rob Miller, adding that members of the public are welcome to come along.
